The weather in Northern California is changing quickly from a scorching hot summer full of wildfires, to a cold frosty winter. Are your prepared? Have you winterized your home?

Tips to help you during the winter season.

1. Inspect your roof before rainfall and snowfall. Make sure your shingles are secure and remove any branches or debris that may obstruct water flowing off the roof.

2. Remove debris from your gutters. When there is an abundant amount of debris in the gutters it can cause back flow of water and cause a leaking roof. 

3. Keep sandbags handy in case there is a rainstorm that is causing flooding in the area.
