Winter is coming and Northern California weather can be tricky. SERVPRO of South Shasta County is here to help.  We experience everything from wind, water, hail, snow and flooding. Here is a quick guide to Northern California winter readiness. 

1. Clean out rain gutters. Remove loose debris to prevent water damage on roof.

2.  Keep batteries, flashlights, food and water on hand. 

3.  Sandbags are a helpful tool to prevent water from entering the structure. 

4. Generator. Helps keep refrigerator from food spoilage if power is out for multiple days. 

5. Board Games. Always a plus to keep the kiddos and the family entertained.
