We use IICRC Trained Technicians that use standard industry methods to get rid of the standing water. Once the visible water is gone, We then use an Air Mover to push the moisture from the ground into the air, then use a de-humidifier to move the moisture out of the air and into a bucket. • Clean burners yearly for gas and oil-fired water heaters. Have the service professional inspect flues and vents for cracks or loose connections that could leak deadly exhaust gases.

• The service life of a temperature and pressure (T & P) valve is usually three years. Even if a T & P valve looks fine from the outside, manufacturers recommend they be removed and visually inspected for accumulations of corrosion deposits

A homeowner with some physical agility and a knack for DIY projects may be able to unclog the lines, and a plumber or an appliance repair specialist will also be able to resolve a clog.

Tip #4: Make sure the ice maker is not making a mess.

Shut off the supply line to the ice maker. If the leak stops, tighten the supply line connection at the back of the appliance. Turn the valve to allow for water flow to resume. If the leak persists, the supply line may have a crack or crimp allowing the leak. A supply line replacement may require the services of a plumber.
